It can be caused by a disc bulge or herniation, but this isn’t the only factor that can cause sciatic pain. It can also be caused by an arthritic spinal joint, or piriformis syndrome, which is a tight muscle in the buttock region.

Dr Laura will first determine what is causing your sciatica, and then create a plan of chiropractic care just for you to help restore normal spine function through spinal adjustments.
These adjustments will take pressure off the sciatic nerve and alleviate the symptoms you’re experiencing. She will also give you stretches and exercises to do on your own, that will help strengthen the muscles around the area of the sciatic nerve and disc herniation, if applicable, and stretch other tight muscles.
